So here is some useful Skyrim stuff, add anything you may have to this thread.

• Firstly, if you need to buy the game apparently Greenman Gaming has it for USD$53 at the moment (Steam key). People on GPForums have used this and had no issues, however if you want to be absolutely sure then buy it from Steam.

• To disable VSync in Skyrim, add iPresentInterval=0 to the bottom of the [Display] section of the Skyrim.ini file in the \Users\[Username]\My Documents\My Games\Skyrim directory.

• Change iWaterReflectHeight=512 and iWaterReflectWidth=512 to 1024 and adding the following text to the SkyrimPrefs.ini to improve the quality of water reflections.

It only took morrowind, oblivion, fallout 3, fallout new vegas and the fallout DLC's to fix that 3rd person diagonal moonwalk, but they finally did it.

I can play in 3rd person a happy man. Also, the first steam game I dropped 90USD on, just feeding the machine...

Also, change this in your skyrimprefs.ini in your steamapps/common/skyrim/skyrim. Much better mouse response; with this and vsync my game felt like it was lagging up all in my cursory area and shit:

bMouseAcceleration=1
to
bMouseAcceleration=0

under [Controls].

I am actually considering buying the game just because it is such a good game and they deserve the money I reckon.

Yeah I wouldn't have felt ripped buying it off Steam even, so less than $70 off of GMG is all good. Well worth the cash, unlike that piece of shit Cliff of Dover, holy fuck why did I buy that game what a goddamn piece of shit good thing I'm not Midge mad.
