If any of you guys have done the Companion quests and can get them to follow you: get the training they offer, after that trade with them and get the money you paid them for the training back  .

My companion is a stupid fucking bitch.

She randomly runs off while carrying some of my valuable stuff (I use her as a mule). I gave her good armor and a good weapon and she still gets owned. and to top it all of when I get into a fight she stands behind me hacking at me...

I've already lost about 4 followers.

The worst I've had is some bitch from that SE town who feels the need to mention the same things to me every 2 minutes, and to tell me useless shit when I'm having important quest related conversations.

Some people have made some pretty game-breaking armor by stacking enchantments and smithing buffs.

If you are using any of those performance tweak .dll's it will change your video card type for some reason. If not, then yeh, patch is awesome.

I've been getting FPS hits since the patch and have to fix it by alt-tab until it goes back to normal.

The patch didn't actually change anything game wise. It was just the exe which has now been encripted. This was a massive fail as it has stopped most mods from working. For many it has been a game breaker as LLA no longer works.

Yeah good 90-100 hrs of play in it. Was the most played game con-currently on Steam. Modern Warfare was getting 21,000 ppl while Skyrim was pulling in 250,000 to 5000,000 at its peak!

Skyrim has received a rather hurried patch 1.3. How do I know this? Because my game of Skyrim just crashed to desktop for no given reason, and on trying to restart it, Steam’s patcher kicked in. Maybe it will fix random crashes to desktop?! It does offer “General stability improvements”, who coincidentally was a man I served under in the army in the 1940s. So have they addressed any of the litany of issues on everyone’s lists? Well, if the books not sitting correctly on the bookshelves was one of yours, then you’re a winner! If not, well, then maybe not so much.

It does, however, somewhat guardedly suggest it fixes the two new issues 1.2 introduced, if “Fixed magic resistances not calculating properly” means “Buffs work again”, and “Fixed dragon animation issues with saving and loading” means “The dragons no longer fly backward”.
Here’s the epic list in full:
- General stability improvements
- Optimize performance for Core 2 Duo CPUs
- Fixed Radiant Story incorrectly filling certain roles
- Fixed magic resistances not calculating properly
- Fixed issue with placing books on bookshelves inside player purchased homes
- Fixed dragon animation issues with saving and loading
- Fixed Y-look input to scale correctly with framerate
Yes. There’s a couple of other bits and pieces we can think of that might belong on that list. Roll on 1.4.

I'll see how busy this new job keeps me, but might look at buying this, or waiting until I move back to NZ, whenever that is
